gremlins 700 1985

I have a 1985 760 v6 with k-jetronic. sometimes just out of the blue the car will not start(hot or cold) but if i let the car stand without trying to restart it right away it will start, or sometimes if i let it sit untill the next day it will start

I have a couple of bosch fuel injection books but it does'nt list this symptom or does the FAQ 700 section

could you if you can point me in the right direction.
