740TurboWagon- Self-Leveling Suspension? 700 1989

Hi,

I have recently purchased a 1989 740 Turbo Wagon with 172k miles. It's a fine car but needs some maintenance, as one might imagine, including rear shocks. When I asked about rear shocks at the parts dealer, they asked- "Does it have the self-leveling suspension?"... and all I could answer is, "ummm, self-leveling suspension???"!

Does anyone out there know if in fact this model/year came standard with a self-leveling suspension?

Thanks for your kindness,

Barry
