Leakage problem seems to have fixed itself 200 1987

A few weeks ago, I posted a message about my car leaking some bluish, slippery liquid. first of all, could this be anything other than coolant? The leaking mysteriously stopped last week. I checked under the hood, and found that, if it was coolant after all, it stopped because there wasn't any left in the tank. I filled it, and it hasn't leaked since. any ideas on this latest problem? where would be the most likely leaking spots? did some smurf die in my engine and that's why it didn't keep leaking?
