Antiseize - Copper or Nickel? 200 90

I am replacing most of the exhaust system on my car. I'm not sure what kind of metal the exhaust parts are made of. The brand is Starla and Bosal, used on Volvos. Several people recommended that I use antiseize on the new clamps IF I want to be able to remove them easier in the future. I understand that the copper and nickel based ones have a higher temperature rating than aluminum based antiseize. I would like to know which of the two are better, or more appropriate - copper or nickel?

Also, can I use this antiseize on the pipes where they join in a slip joint, one end of pipe goes inside the other with the clamp on the outside? They seem to fuse together over time from the high heat. The Bentley manual recommends using a muffler sealing paste on the slip joints, for ease of installation and to prevent leaks. But wouldn't antiseize serve both those purposes, as well as, making future removal easier?
