Re: Putting in a tach 200 1989

There are four screws holding in the instrument cluster. Two on each side (under the plastic that has the headlight knob on the left and under the two 2" x 2" plastic squares on the right). You'll need a stubby phillips screwdriver to get the clock out as you won't be able to get the entire cluster out of the way without removing the steering wheel. Once you've popped the covers off hiding the screws, you'll see why it only takes a few minutes to put in the tach. I think the complete instructions are in the 7xx/9xx FAQ.
