Electronic Speedo/Odo 200 88

Recently bought a very clean 240. Not at all surprised to find that the

odometer isn't working. Just pick up another and swap the rotten gear, right? Wrong....electronic and it doesn't work either. But the speed works percectly, and the reset is not stuck. Can someone give me the tip

for fixing this? Is there a seperate sensor for the odometer, or is it the

same as the one that operates the speedo?
