Re: Fuel Relay...where wires go. 200 1985

Richard -

Does your car have a single 6-terminal relay? 1985 is a transition year, what with the body like a 1984 and the engine a B230 type and the FI system the LH-Jetronic II like the 84 but modified for the B230.

I have the Volvo Green Wiring Diagrams book for 1985 240, so here's the pin outs for the 6-lug relay.

#30 R wire, fat, comes from the 25-amp fuse.

#87/1 BN wire to #9 on ECU, and OR wire to #5 on AMM

#86/1 Y-SB wire to #21 on ECU

#87/2 Y-R wire to a BN-W wire to IAC #3, Y-R to input side of fuse #4 which goes to in-tank fuel pump, Y-R to all 4 injectors, and continuing from each injector a GN-W wire to #13 on ECU, a Y-R wire to Oxygen Sensor.

#86/2 BL-GN wire to #17 on ECU

#85 R-SB wire to #18 on ECD and tho #15 ib ignition switch.

This may be more than you expected. I hope it helps. If you want to own this wiring diagram book, go to www.volvocars.com/lit

Good Luck,

Bob
