Check out Kelly's Blue Book (kbb.com) or Edmunds (edmunds.com) for the appropriate figures. Edmunds is pretty good.

Also, NADA--North American Dealer's Association--has a site (nada.com) that is pretty good.

The proper price, in my humble opinion, is what you are willing to pay. For example, I see people advertising 240 wagons from 93 for like 12-13 grand. I would never DREAM of paying that kind of money, even if the thing had 30,000 miles. But if someone will pay it, then that's what they'll get.

Good luck, Betty! I hope your search is successful. The 95 940 is an excellent car, and I'm looking for one (or two) as well. What the hell, I'd take three if I could get the right ones!
