Interior motives......(pun intended) 200 1984

Recently, I posted a message on here about looking for either headrest cushions or covers for my 1984 244 GL. While I was told that they would cost a few bucks, I found a place selling them for about 20 bucks a pop. As far as I am concerned, not bad of a price. The problem? They only carried them for 86-93 240's. I'd also like to put in a set of rear headrests....can that be done, too?

My question(s) are as follows....

1: Are the cushions worth the money?

2: Were there even headrest covers/cushions offered for the 84 200 series?

3: If they were NOT offered, can I just retrofit a set of headrests from an 86-93 200 series on the car? If so, what kind of work/trouble am I getting myself into?
