Chris...try this: what does your speedometer show at 3000rpm in 4th gear? I get about 63mph. How about third? About 45mph.

What size tires are you running? I run 195's on my '86, I believe the stock (factory) size was 185. If you are running 225's or something your speedo may be off. But 10mph (80-90) is quite a difference at any rate....hmmmm...
