Re: No Start Problems? Read This.... 200 85

Where is the air mass meter located for us novices?

I am having periodic starting problems with my 1990 740 GL wagon. It seems to have become progressivley worse over the last year or so. I have replaced the fuel filter and pressure regulator but with no results. The fuel pump has been replaced once in 210K miles.

Another question; I have seen mention on this board of two fuel pumps on the 740, one in the tank and one in the line. I only see one pump at the tank on my car. The line goes from the tank to the filter and then to the injectors. Am I missing something?
