Re: fault code 2-3-2 200 1990

I remember 2-1-2 being the O2 sensor fault.

2-3-2 is the generic "rich or lean mixture at idle" one.

2-1-2 trips the Check Engine light. 2-3-2 doesn't.

I'd check out everything related to the 02 sensor, mass airflow sensor, and the fuel pressure regulator. Vacuum lines to the FPR, wiring connections to the MAF sensor, and the wiring connections to the O2 sensor. Then reset the codes and see where you are.

If that doesn't do it, dig deeper. Usually the fault codes are easily set and often cleared without replacing all the parts that are reported faulty.

Additionally, the aftermarket O2 sensors sometimes cause a check engine light to stay on. If you used an aftermarket one. But the light is usually related to the 212 code.
