Repacking the bearings? 700 1989

I am changing the rotors (Balo) and the pads (PBR) on an 1989 740GL. The car has 175kMi on the clock, and I can't see it in the records, that the front bearings have been replaced or serviced at any time.

I am wondering if I should repack them while I have everything apart? Is it even possible on this car? The hub and the rotor are two separate pieces, I have Girling calipers.

If it's possible, are there any recommendations on the grease to use? I know in my Mercedes we're supposed to use the MB provided grease, but what do I use in the Volvo?

Any thoughts on Balo vs. Brembo rotors? (I wanted the Brembos but got sent Balos. I was told that Balo is the actual OEM, and is a better rotor.)

Thank you in advance,

Greg
