rust treatment anyone? 120-130 1965

Well, as I plan the winter of Amazon revival I know I'll be facing rust repair. Luckily my 122 lived most of its life in So. Cal.

I'll be treating mostly surface rust but I know I should expect some surprises. I'm hoping to not be welding in patch panels at this point, it really is a pretty clean 122.

So the question is: What have you experienced with the different methods and products on the market?

I'm interested in a remover called Rusteco, if anyone has tried. And POR-15; seems to be the one most often mentioned as a sealer.

If anybody has a "years after" report that would be pretty helpful. The Amazon will be getting new paint next summer and I don't want to see bubbles eighteen months later. It will be sanded down to metal before the new paint goes on.

So if anyone has fought rust I would like to hear about it, win or lose.

Thanks again,

-Mario
