Re: Testing the AMM 700 1985

What's wrong with the car? The most simple way is to unplug the AMM and drive the car. If if runs, but gives poor performance, it's in limp home mode. With this car, the fuel pump relay supplies power to the AMM, so a quick resolder job may be in order. You might also check the airbox thermostat to make sure it's working properly.

Warning, only unplug sensors when the ignition is OFF!!! ECU damage may occur otherwise.
