If you visit the Tractor Pulling Center, you can see how to place two small round gauges in the central dash, but you need to sacrifice the driver's-side center vent to do it. Looking at my wife's 940, I've also thought about two gauges in place of the small storage compartment under the stereo.

At least you've got those two upper slots in the instrument panel - the 940's "cathedral-style" panel angles in at the top, cutting out those possibilities!
