I need some advise. I bought a 91 240 a few months ago & it has just

started making whining/groaning noises in the transmission. Someone said

it might be because the weather has just turned colder & I didn't hear it

during the hot summer months. Suppose the transmission is going bad? It

is almost due for the 90,000 mi. service. Appreciate any help! Liz V.
