Removing rear caliper 200 1987

I broke off a wheel lug bolt on the right rear wheel on my '87 240--for some reason the nut was seized. I have two questions: First, am I asking for trouble if I don't get around to replacing the lug bolt for a little while; and second, can I unbolt the caliper and slide it out of the way without disconnecting the brake lines (and avoid the whole bleeding process) or is that a must do if I want to get the rotor off? Many thanks!

Mike F.
