Now, part of me, the childish part, is getting a kick out of how far this thing has pushed to the right of the screen.
The other part of me is deeply concerned over how your "pro-Israeli ass"' became "Rosy-Red". AND, much more disturbingly, why you are thinking about me in a "Tinker Belle Costume".
Leaving that aside for a moment. Ordinarily I give very detailed, very cautious and well-thought out answers in my replies.
But this guy Dowell shows up anytime he wants to know something, but gives nothing back. And that is all well and good, no problem.
But Mr. Dowell showed up here a while back with a VERY VERY serious condition. One I have seen myself, twice. This is where the swagged plug at the leading edge of the fuel rail developes a leak. A leak that cannot be easily traced with the engine off.
When this thing cuts loose, Mr. Swat, It discharges pressurized fuel in a forward direction, into the coooling fan, which vaporizes it and blows it back under light pressure/ high volume, over the exhaust system and entire engine compartment.
Forget the Valmet..... Can you say: "Swedish Rolling F.A.E.?"
This little 'problem' that Volvo has is also possible, by design, on the S80's, though not quite as serious because the engine is sideways.
BTW, I work with NHTSA in DC as part of my job. There is an open investigation into this. And make no doubt, this little problem could quite easily obliterate an entire family travelling down the highway.
Hence my flippant, cavalier, whatever answer to this guy. You know.... (ya ya, do your 30k, tighten some bolts, but WHAT HAPPENED with the fuel thing?)
Some people have had this item quietly replaced for free by Volvo, long after the car is out of warranty. Most people have been stonewalled and told is isn't true.
Anyway, I don't mind handing out advice to those who offer nothing in return. Some don't HAVE anything to offer in return. But this guy does. And he won't. And that sucks. In my humble opinion.
Now, you still want to bust my Mullah self with a C-130??!
Better hope it's an AC-130 Spectre. A regular C-130 is a flying pig that could be brought down with a Palestinian rock.
