Boge Turbo Gas Shocks Original vs Fake 200 1991

Bricksters need some information!!

In the past two weeks I have ordered Boge Turbo Gas shocks from two Board advertisers, All OEM Parts Inc eg. (The Parts Bin) and New and Used Volvo Parts eg. (Franks Foreign Auto-Orange NJ).

In both cases I phoned and requested OEM Boge shocks made in Germany, both times I was assured that the shocks were German Boge!

Both times I was missinformed. Both sets of shocks were mfg. in Turkey and or Mexico. Stamped with the Boge name and different part numbers. Ipd sells the same Boge shocks.

Does anyone know if Boge still mfg. shocks in Germany and if so where can I purchase a set.

Inquiring minds want to know.
