Re: Feedback 700 1986

Shawn 32: I guess that I obscured the fact that I do indeed have a turbo with a ZF22 tranny (I called it a "TurtleDiesel). One thing that you can do to get more insight into what-year-car-had-what-engine-/tranny, etc., by going to "volvoworld.com" and going to the engine spec info section; they also have a table to help you decipher your VIN code, as well as other useful info for 240, 700, 850, 900 series VoVo's.BTW, the letter 'T' in the model name of the car (like 740GT) does NOT m,ean turbo; but as part of the designator for an engine, it does (like my '86 740 TURBO-DIESEL wagon, with a 'D24T,' a Diesel 2.4 liter Turbo). Have fun finding out more and more about yer VoVo...and don't be shy about asking, PLENTY of folks here to help.--PD.
