Re: Removing Window Tint On Rear Window 200 87

A number of years ago I had to remove perfectly good tint because Ohio passed new standards (50%). A local tint shop suggested acetone and it worked great but there are probably health and saftey issues that need to be addressed before going at it. So educate yourself before using it as I don't want to hear a sad story about you in the news.

Even with the acetone it was not an easy job. The adhesive loosens up but has a tendency to just smear around on the surface of the glass. Lots of clean terry cloth rags was of some addtional help. Good luck.
