Has anyone tried Daniel Stern's Markerflash modification?

My 765 could use this modification to get the sidemarkers flashing with the turn signals that are located under the headlights.

He does not provide a diagram and the explanation seems too easy: disconnect the ground wire from the sidemarker and connect it to the positive side of the turn signal light.
