B23FT ? 200 1985

I ran across a 1985 240 turbo sedan this weekend. I didn't get a chance to lift the hood. Didn't these cars have the B23FT? Were they equipped with water cooled turbos? intercoolers? This is a very tired example with rust, collision damage and 219,000 miles. Unfortunately it is automatic. The phone call to the owner provided the information that it runs but has a cracked exhaust manifold. I'm not all that interested in this car, even as a parts car- although I have to admit that parts cars you can actually drive home rather than towing have a certain appeal to me. What can you tell me about that tired old B23FT? I do have a 82 turbo wagon project coming together....
