Factory Amp?! 200 1992

someone please help me, I'm trying to hook up a new stereo system and the fool who had the car before me disconected everything and then hooked the speakers up to a 4-channel amp, which isn't there anymore. so, to sum up what I just said,

"I have no sound coming from my speakers and I don't know where the Factory amplifier is."

if someone could help me, it would be greatly appreciated.
