Gas Pedal STUCK!!!! 200 86

'86 240 Wagon B230 non-turbo Autobox, 3spd/od

Got in trusty the other day (so called, because I trust I will hear a new noise every trip)

And when I pressed the gas after starting the motor, I felt a clic or pop, and then all worked fine.

Same thing the day after, and after, the colder ot got, the more difficluty pressing the gas to make this pop noise and return to normal action.

Well, yesterday no pop, and it was very difficult to operate the gas pedal.

Today I got in, and with all my might, I could not push the darm pedal.

Under the hood I found the tranny kick-down cablevery difficult to slide in the sheath. I disconnected it and the throttle works fine, so I am driving it with no manual kick-down. WHAT BROKE? HELP PLEASE.

Brad
