Bought my first Turbo today! now I need to get it running! 200 1984

It all started a week ago. A friend I hadn't seen for a while stops by my house and says he knows a swede in the next county with a hidden stash of Volvos. I go with him to this guy's yard, and see many Volvos, two of which are Turbo 240s. I had my pick of the two. I chose blue with black leather (and a clean title). The rear seat is more like black cardboard now, but I get whatever interior I want out of any other car in this guy's yar for free for buying the car. The swede's named Lennart Hoff. He's a very nice guy, especially considering he fixes and parts out cars. A couple of 60 mile trips to the yard, and I was done with the checks on the car. I bought it today, a day which will live in infamy (for me).

It doesn't run. It's been sitting for 2 years. It needs fuel pumps and tires, possibly a couple other things. The engine is a minter though, 100,700 miles (good documentation) with a new turbo installed a couple months before the car was sold to the yard. I worked out a deal with the swede: I paid him $200 down and I get to work on the car until it runs using parts from the yard. Once it's up to my standards, I pay him the rest of the $500 total price. If I never get the car running up to my standards, I owe him nothing past the $200 and I get to keep the car for parts anyway.

Questions: Should I drop the gas tank and flush it? I plan on pumping the gas/water out, but I'm talking hosing this thing down and stuff. I plan on draining and replacing all fluids. Are there any other recommendations for what to do with it? BTW the car and myself are in Florida. Thanks for the help, guys. It's my first Turbo, and I want to keep it for a very long time!
