Re: Headliner Fabric: How much do I need and what thickness? 700 89

I tend to agree with Rick about the 1/4" material. I did mine with 1/8" on the sunroof and 1/4" on the headliner, all on the advice of the place that sold me the material. The idea behind the 1/4" is to obscure any deficiencies in the board cleaning, etc. If I was to do it again, I'd use

1/8" throughout. As Rick pointed out, it would be easier to reinstall certain trim pieces, plus, I think it would be easier to conform it to the compound curved areas in the rear seat head well area. There's link to a supplier below. I bought my stuff from a place calld Anthony's in Tampa, but they seem to have disappeared from the net. Get PLENTY of spray adhesive so you don't have to run to Pep Boys half way through the project.

If you haven't started yet, e-mail me off line.
