I put one on my 89 240. I got the sender kit from the dealer, but I don't recommend going there. Its a rip off, but I was in a hurry. In my opinion you don't need the angle adapter. The one that came with my kit is sitting in one of my spare parts boxes. It seemed to make the situation worse. It will thread directly in to the hole with the adapter. It just makes putting the alternator belts more of a challenge, but still possible. The angle adapter is necessary on the B21 turbos, because there is a lot less room in there
