New CD deck OR CD changer? 700 1991

Hey AZ,

Your stereo installation looks great. It doesn't look a whole lot different then mine would look using the dash kit. The kit I bought would make the front of the Clarion stick out a bit (like every other aftermarket stereo). There would be a small, flat (about 1/2") lip above the deck and below the heater controls. So the dash would have that flat part above the heater controls and then another smaller one below the heater controls. I guess it wouldn't be too bad. I'm pretty sure the Clarion would still face toward the driver because that whole part of the Vo's dash is angled that way. I guess the new deck is the way to go, but I still like the changer idea because it would retain the stock look and I don't really mind the stock stereo. The Clarion IS very nice though :) Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm............
