740 wheels fit the 240's just fine. Bolt pattern is 5x108mm or 5x4.25". Offset is 20mm on the 240's, 25mm on the 740's - neglible IMHO.

Short of caliper clearances (bigger issue on ones with ABS), pretty much all RWD rims from the 140-940 are interchangable.
