Oil Leak! 700 1990

There is a large flat rubber ring on the underside of the oil cap. Just replace it. Also, check for other know oil leak areas, oil seperator box under the intake manifold and the accompanying hose, oil coolaer adapter between the block and the filter (O-ring gives out after a few years), distributor leaking behind the engine, oil pan bolts loosen.

Various front-of-the-engine seals also leak. It's usually good to replace them every 100,000 miles.

OK, so clean your engine now.

Please post your findings and calm down. Several have reported low oil or no oil with few ill-effects. (for a short time)
