tourist and diplomat sales; carfax report?

The 1989 740 GL Sedan that I bought a few months ago has a sticker on it that says "tourist and diplomat sales", and the manual jacket also has this designation. This has made me really curious about the car's history.

I was wondering if anyone had any info on this program, and if anyone with an unlimited carfax subscription would be kind enough to run YV1FX884XK1396067 to satisfy my curiosity.
