Big problems with 740 700 1991

Sounds like it could be a head gasket but you have to be sure and it is not the end of the car. The coolant might be blowing out the overflow from high pressure exhaust leaking into the cooling system at the gasket. Pull the plugs and see if one is suspiciously steam cleaned. Is the exhaust sweet like antifreeze? A lot of us have learned to do headgaskets but you need the tools and the weekend to do it. It is not made easier by having a turbo. Even so, you should be able to straighten this out for $400 if you do it (head rebuild and gaskets) or $1000 if a shop does it.
