Difference in QUALITY between OEM and ScanTech bearings? 200 1993

I would strongly recommend against buying the ScanTech part for this application. Ok, first of all I bought 2 ScanTechs from RPR. I put them in, 1 broke as soon as the car went back down. The rubber peeled away from the inner metal part. I returned it to RPR, and they sent me another. This one would not fit, the studs were not drilled in precisely the right location. I returned it for a refund. I went to Volvo and bought a new one, problem solved.

Also, I read of someone who bought Boge brand upper strut mounts (aka strut bearings) and then both of them failed, the rubber peeling away from the center metal part. HOWEVER, the Volvo part that I purchased is manufactured by none other than Boge, and has the boge name on the bottom of the part.

To sum up, I would just buy the Volvo brand part. Same goes for the rear trailing arm bushing. For other suspension bushings, I like the Scan Tech parts.
