WIRING HARNESS REPAIR

If the plastic connector block is intact, you can pry open a retaining flap to remove the wire connectors (keeping track fo what goes where); if it's no longer servicable, I'd suggest a wrecking yard.

The part number for the female wiring connectors is p/n 3523813; if my notes are correct, it comes with about 3 feet (1 meter) of wire attached. I'm afraid I don't have a number for the male connectors, though...

Have you tried some of the dealers that sell via mail-order, such as Borton or Nils Sefelt? I've found them very helpful in obtaining odd things that the local dealer thinks are too much trouble to deal with.

Given the choice between making up a new harness myself and buying one, I opted to buy a new one from Nils Sefelt; it's one of those things where either route is okay, it's up to the individual which way to go (balancing time & effort vs. cost...).
