CD player memory

With little knowledge of CD player installation, I have recently installed a CD player in my '85 244 GL. One problem: the memory will not save. As I'm sure you can imagine, this problem is extremely annoying. The CD player, which was a Christmas gift, is an AIWA. Here is a list of the CD player wires and VOLVO wires:

CD player:
Red - to power
Yellow - to battery direct (back up) fuse 5A
Black - to ground
Blue - relay control to power antennae/remote fuse 5A

VOLVO:
Blue (fuse attached)
Black
Red

My wires now are CD player Yellow and Red to VOLVO blue, CD player Black to VOLVO Black, CD player Blue to nothing.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
