1986 240dl rough idle 200 1986

Car runs very well after it warms up, but it is rough on the idle starting up when the engine is cold. Seems to have a periodic change in idle smoothness till it's warmed up. When driven in this state, it tends to buck. Gas mileage is fine, about 30mpg, so vacuum system seems to be OK, I think!
