Power Trunk Lock Motor wiring 200 1983

So I finally got my trunk lock motor installed, and there's a connector with 2 wires (one grey, one green), in addition to a short, off-white wire right at the motor (I assume this is ground?) Does anybody know what the function of the grey and green wires are? I would think that one goes to the button in the glovebox, and then to a fuse, but what's the other wire for?
