Water in my trunk!! 700 1986

Kaibigan El ReY: Happy Freakin' New Yera! Rey, I noticed a wet spot on the ground in the picture of your car, on the driver's side: if that's from your trunk, you got a problem. If that wet spot is from YOU, then you REALLY got a problem!! :>) Just kidding! Look, this is easier to do if your car is up on a lift, byrt under your trunk wells, where the rubber plugs INSIDE the car drain to the OUTSIDE, there is an opening, sometimes with a small-diameter hose an inch-or-so long, sometimes the hose is missing: but that is a place that often gets clogged up, which prevents water in those trunk wells from draining out. Take the liners out of your trunk, see if there's any crud or junk where the previously-described 1-inch rubber plugs/drains are, then somehow get under your car and clean out the exterior portion of those tubes/drains. Candy, pebbles, mud, etc., are the most common culprits, but I've found an amazing variety of stuff in mine. Good Luck. Salamat, Kaibigan.--PD.
