2-1-2 code wont go away after 02 sensor replaced. Help! 900 1992

92 965 110K mi.
I still have a 2-1-2 code after replacing then o2 sensor.
I have cleared the codes several times but it keeps returning.
I replaced the sensor, Checked connections for sensor, checked and
cleaned connections for the FI relay (thanks for advise Jerry). I took a little longer for the light to come on this time and this is odd but the light was not
Light when I turned the car off, but the next morning when I started the check engine light never went out. I think I will switch the FI relay and the fan relay and try again They are the sane right? I am also wondering can this be a proublem with the temp sensor?
Can some of you Volvo Gurus please help, my wife is getting pissed because I spend moor time with the car and the computer than her.
