I've come across a deal that is too good to pass on a 740 Turbo. I'm gonna go and look at it this weekend and more than likely buy it. If I do buy it, I'll need to make room in the stable. My 240 is a 1988 244DL and it's the metallic midnight blue, blue interior and aproximately 175-180K miles (the speedo recently broke and I've just been too busy and lazy to do anything about it.) I recently have been posting claiming that it had just t 200K, but when I calculated the miles that I would have driven, I found that had missed the mark by a wee bit. It has been a wonderful car that gets me to work and home like a champ. It has about 3K since the last oil change and has burned NO oil and the plugs were replaced about 1-2 months ago. They were the cleanest plugs that I've ever seen come out of a car. No rust. Runs strong. All seals around the trans. area has been replaced. New A/C system and converted that get average 36-38 degrees out of the vents. Drivers windo crank needs replacing. Dash hasnew over on it (not adhered yet.) Will be rebuilding the driver's seat.
