Dear fellow Brickster,
FYI - FCP Groton LLC (fcpgroton.com) will be selling aftermarket main turbo hose (volvo part no. 351-4480) for $80 starting on January 20, 2001. They sell OE hose for $140. No I don't work for FCP Groton, just been looking for used one on the internet, 12 salvage yards, and 8 junk yards locally here in Houston, Texas with no success. My 91 745 Turbo has been out of service since Christmas because this hose tore at the turbo connection. I found three at the "junk yard" but there were not usable, ie. worst shape than mine. I also called a dozen salvage yard and three said they had them, but like the "junk yard" they were in worst shape than mine when I saw them. I called Nick at FCP Groton and told him my sad story and he told me that they were getting a manufacturer to make the hose and that it would be available on January 20, 2002 for $80. Yes, this hose has the outlet for the electrical connection. Hope this helps you guys and girls. You all have certainly help me.
FYI - Salvage yard = you call, they pull, you pay.

PS. I got lucky (I hope) and finally found someone who was parting out his 90 740 turbo. He will be checking his hoses tonight to see if they are in good condition and if they look like mine.
