Turbo swap annoyances - help me before I become shorthaired again... Almost pulling my hair out... 700 1987

Got an honest gripe for Volvo with the 1987 740 Turbo...

Why did they insist on putting the AC Expansion Valve right where it would make it nearly impossible to reach the bottom nut for the exhaust pipe from above? Doesn't make much sense to me... Guess it's back out to the garage for me, though... Gotta jack the car up and crawl underneath, so I can disconnect the exhaust and remove the nut for the support bracket stud on the exhaust manifold.
