Help! Car dies while driving 200 1983

I have a 1983 245 turbo. A couple of times in the last month, the car has died while I was driving, when I tried to restart, it would start, but die a second later. After waiting about 10 minutes the car would drive again. This happened twice yesterday, starting to worry that next time it dies, it won't start again. The only obvious problem the car has is that it looks like it needs a new wiring harness. Does anyone have any advice to other things that might cause this problem?
