Problems with M-40

I would not mess with that tranny. M40s used to be a dime a dozen as everybody (me too) wanted M41s. Amazingly quick and easy to change too, just leave the bell housing in place (as long as you have a LONG extension to get at the top Allen head bolts.) Return the one you have and get your money back.
