Indicator Doesn't Cancel .....Help Please 200 1985

Thanks George,
With this latest acquisition we now have 3 Volvos in the family. One gets use to the left side indicator so if I change one over it makes sense to change the three...maybe one day. The wiper no longer gets the daily use it once got!

Removing the steering wheel is the next task. I do not have a deep 27mm socket. I was thinking about doing it at the wrecking yard by borrowing the tool.

When the steering wheel goes full lock a rattle is heard in the top of the column. Is it possible that this ring on the column could have worked loose?

What would be a reasonable amount to pay and how long should it take to do the job?
