Replacement carpet / power steering? 140-160 1972

Two questions - Anyone know of a good source for replacement carpet for my 142, will carpet for a early 242 work? seems like it would be easier to find for a 2-series car. Second - For my next project I'm gonna add power steering in place of my worn out steering box. I could use some info in regards to whats the best road to take. Thanks in advance.
