Help! Electrical Problem! 200 1989

I think you need to answer B.C.'s questions for more accurate troubleshooting. It being an '89 with probably better then 200K on the odometer, the brushes in your alternator may have worn to the no charging point. You can buy these brushes for about $2.00. $45 for the entire regulator that screws into the back of the alternator.
