New vibration on my '90 245 5 speed

Hello fellow brick drivers:

Just picked up a new vibration in my car. When I accelerate, car shudders on the right side of the vehicle more than the left, especially at lower RPMs.

Shifting into third, fourth and fifth is the most noticable. Once I get to speed, vibration is gone. Everything inside the engine compartment seems okay. There is a small hole in the rear muffler.

Any ideas. My brick has 245,500 miles on it. Itis a great car but I'm not willing to drop thousands into fixing it either.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Sincerely,

MedfordEd
